My story
From the field to the boardroom.
I’m based in Ifite, Awka, in Anambra State. My working life has been built in the field: recording, collecting, auditing and organising work across communities, to standards set by an international client. That is where I learned what makes an operation run — the right people, properly trained, with a clear standard to work to.
One100 Group grew out of that experience. It started with One100 Services, delivering field operations, and has become four companies — in services, food, real estate, and design and automation — each built from its first customer to a standing business.
Education matters deeply to me. Twice, my own education slipped out of my hands for one reason only: money. That is why I am launching the Ikegbunem Ugochukwu Initiative in 2027.
Above all, I’m a husband and a dad. Family is where my own story began — a father who taught me to read and a mother who taught me how to live — and it shapes everything I build.
“Build the operation, then hand it a standard it can run on.”

Journey
A track record of leadership
Key roles in my career, businesses and service.
Today
Founder, Chairman & CEO — One100 Group
I set strategy, capital allocation and leadership across our four companies, and built each one from its first customer to a standing operation.
Today
Production Manager — Macnico Enterprises, for FamilySearch International
I run field recording, transcription and data handoff for FamilySearch’s oral genealogy programme. I designed a standard collection process that FamilySearch later adopted globally, and I employ and manage 64 staff plus subcontractors — delivering on schedule, with no injuries on site.
Today
Scan & Share — FamilySearch International
I help institutions move their archives off paper, and build the partnerships that open each site.
Earlier
Auditor — FamilySearch International
I audited project finances and operations across Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Senegal, and oversaw Enugu’s move to online leadership and clerk resources.
2018 – 2019
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering — Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria
One of 15 students admitted from 2,009 candidates.
2014 – 2016
Full-time missionary — Nigeria and Sierra Leone
I was responsible for more than 200 fellow missionaries, and learned Ibibio, Krio and Mende so I could teach each community in its own language.
Education: BSc Economics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (in progress, expected 2030); Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria; SSCE at Annunciation Secondary School, Enugu.

Recognition
Quality, recognised.
I was the first Nigerian contractor to receive FamilySearch’s Gold recognition for quality of work — recognition for the teams and the standard we built together.
